Who are the Key City Fliers?
Based out of the Dubuque Regional Airport in Dubuque, Iowa, Key City Fliers is a non-profit organization focused on delivering access to safe light aircraft for its members at an affordable rate.
Key City Fliers was founded in 1960 by a group of three pilots who purchased a Taylorcraft. Since that time, we have owned a variety of aircraft to meet the needs of our members.
Not Just a Hobby for the Rich
Most small airplanes are rented by ordinary people like school teachers, nurses, bankers, and electricians.
The cost of ownership is shared among members.
Pilots are charged only for the time that they operate the engine. Key City Fliers uses the time registered on the tachometer which results in further savings to our members.
As a member, you are covered by Key City Fliers’ insurance policy.
